The location of the apartment was perfect for our needs. The village of Pinos Genil was very Spanish and we found the local people very friendly and made us welcomed. When leaving the village on turning left on the main road you were already making your way up the Sierra Nevada mountain road to the ski resort. Alternatively, if you continued along the main road this took you along the direct route to the Alhambra Palace. It was absolutely perfect for us. Once again, many thanks."

The children progressed from nervous first time skiers to fearless competent skiers within only a few days. The slopes couldn't have been better for first timers and intermediates. Coupled with the wall to wall sunshine, I don't think we could have chosen a better ski resort. I have skied all over the Alps and Pyrenees and hadn't really considered the Sierra Nevada before, so was very pleasantly surprised.

We ate in most days, and took sandwiches up the mountain, and found the little shops in the village had most things we could want and at very good prices considering the exchange rate.
