Malaga
Airports:1 hour 30 minutes to Pinos Genil If you do not
drive or do not wish to hire a car, there is a bus service
from Malaga to Granada which takes 90 minutes and costs 10
euros one-way.
Getting
to the Apartment
From
Granada, pick up the signs for Sierra Nevada. Follow the signs
until you go through a tunnel. On exiting the tunnel bare
right still following signs for Sierra Nevada. After approximately
2 km you will see Pinos Genil (pronounced Pino Hen-eel) sign
posted to the left. Follow the slip road to the right which
will take you under the main road and after 0.5 km you will
come to a T-junction. Turn right and follow the signs for
Pinos Genil. After approximately 3 km you will cross a bridge
over the River Genil and will see the Hotel Duquessa on your
left. The apartments Carmen de la Duquesa are opposite. Calle
San Rafael is to the left of the apartments and No.1 is the
first entrance (on the right).
On
Arrival
There
is excellent parking in front of the apartment and normally
a space outside your main door.
